To begin services, prospective clients are asked to complete our intake documentation, including the Client Information Form. This information allows us to better understand each client's needs, preferences, and living situation so that we can coordinate appropriate homemaker and companion services.

 We are an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance companies directly. Payment for services is due at the time of your appointment. For clients whose insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill or claim form to submit to your insurance company for potential partial reimbursement.

Please note that many plans, particularly HMO plans, do not cover out-of-network services. We recommend checking your specific plan details to understand your out-of-network benefits. PPO and POS plans are more likely to offer out-of-network reimbursement.

We also offer self-pay rates for our services. Please contact us to discuss pricing options, which may be adjusted based on the number of hours required for homemaker or companion services.

 Yes, all staff are appropriately screened and trained. A&B Homecare Companion Agency L.L.C. is a licensed provider in the state of Florida. We ensure compliance with applicable state requirements, including background screening and ongoing training.

 In case of a medical emergency, you should call 911 immediately. Our caregivers are trained to assist in these situations and will follow the protocol established in your care plan. 

 We are fully compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the regulations of the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). Your protected health information (PHI) is used and disclosed only for the purposes of treatment, payment, and healthcare operations, as detailed in our Privacy Policy & Notice of Privacy Practices.
